The second in a "chronicle" of a group of friends, Cougar tells the story of Corey, a 19-year-old young man from a small town in South Carolina during the simmer before he is to begin his freshman year at Morehouse College. Cougar follows Corey as he enters a love triangle between the much older Karen, and the younger Yanza. As this triangle continues, Corey finds himself confused as to what is real and what is fantasy.
